Our 14s come out fast. Wilson powers up the field, takes the tackle, the ball comes out the ruck to McKee who puts it over the line.

Keswick win a ruck in the Egremont half, Keswick makes a run, breaks Egremont’s defence and runs half the field to put it under the sticks.

Keswick knock on, McKee picks up the ball from the scrum, runs towards the touch line, feints the pass, sees the gap and runs into the corner.

There was an even few mins with both teams making mistakes in the wet conditions. Egremont knock on in their own 25 and Keswick push forward. After a couple of failed attempts, Keswick find a gap and put it down for a try.

Second half under way and Egremont start like they did in the first. They come out fast and Whitaker puts it over the line for the first try of the second half.

What a run Young made. Southwood makes a big tackle, Young receives the ball, pushes forward, hands off 3 players, gets into space, runs the Keswick 25 to take the try.

Again Southwood shows her strength and speed, pushes forward through the Keswick defence and puts it under the sticks.

Keswick respond and run wide past the try line and attempt to run for the sticks but Crooks puts in a big hit. Ref gives a penalty try!

Egremont respond fast and Layton takes the try.

Egremont come to Keswick again, Wilson pushes forward, taking a tackle, Bulman continues to push on also taking a tackle, Wilson again takes the ball, driving forward with numerous players trying to stop her. She takes the tackle, Laydon whips the ball out of the ruck, goes left and takes the try.

As the end of the game approaches, the ref gets out the yellow card and sends Laydon packing for a high tackle!
